The aim of this project
Since the new nursing insurance system called "Kaigohoken Seido" was introduced, the concepts of the social welfare systems have changed dramatically; from "measure" to "contract", from "almsgiving" to "right", and from "being forced" to "having choice." In other words, those who need to receive care and help have more options of the services and can seek high quality services that would fulfill them more. Our association takes this social transition seriously and we work based on the concept that "we will not let the elderly be bedridden." Our aim is creating a social and psychological environment that let not only the elderly but also the disabled and children go out safely, by spreading the Care-Fitting technique and co-education.

Undertaking activities
1 Spreading Activities of the Care-Fitting Technique Classified by the Industry and Management Styles
What happens if the elderly and the disabled who have been shut in their homes now would be able to go into town, freely? Don't you think that they would become active consumers and this would revitalize economies in the community? Based on this kind of idea, we promote barrier-free towns and support establishing the foundation in which both the material side and the immaterial side are accepted. As the initial step, we aim to establish the environment that is fulfilled with people who have hospitality minds and the Care-Fitting technique.

2 Spreading Activities of Our Safety Mark, Care-Fitting Mark
It would contribute to create an environment for the elderly and the disabled to go out safely, by posting the Care-Fitting mark where the certified Care-Fitters work as service assistants, gathering places, and cars.

3 Spreading Activities of the Care-Fitters
Until now, taking the home-helper's course is the fastest way to master the caring and helping technique. However, the home-helper's system is carried out in consideration of home care. The volunteers, such as housework assistants who welcome the elderly and the disabled, have told us that they'd like to learn the caring and helping technique for relatively healthy people who don't need assistance with bathing, using the toilet, and meals. Thus, we create the "Care-Fitter" in response to their opinion. One can learn the contents at home and practice (12 hours). This is the new certification system that has hospitality minds toward the elderly and the disabled.

4 Introduction of the curriculum for the Care-Fitting technique to schools
To spread the "Care-Fitter," we introduce the Care-Fitting technique, which is adaptable for the super-aged society as a part of the curriculum, to technical colleges in the field of beauty, sightseeing, and business. The course is about 30 hours total. We also guide the Care-Fitting technique to students at elementary schools and junior high schools.

5 Construction of the "Care-Fit Club" network
We construct the members' organization where they can communicate by various ways. This members' organization consists of the certified "Care-Fitters" and those who had taken the Care-Fitting technique course. We also provide information not only to the members but also to social education and welfare organizations, and we carry out co-educational enlightenment activities.
